AskRIGHT Strengthens its Strong Research Basis and Quality Reputation by Joining The Giving Institute

the giving institute

the giving instituteAskRIGHT has joined leading US and UK firms in the premier association of fundraising consultancies, the Giving Institute. Principal Consultant Dr Daniel McDiarmid commented it was very appropriate for AskRIGHT to join the group and an exciting step for the firm and its clients.

The Giving Institute has a rigorous entry process including examination of the client list, and interview of clients on the quality of the firm’s work.

We are especially proud to be the only consultancy based in Australia-New Zealand to be admitted to the institute.”, said Dr Daniel McDiarmid.

He highlighted the ethics and professional standards accepted by institute members are appropriate to consultants:

The standards are very client-focussed and provide clients with the assurance of the ethical approach of member firms.”

AskRIGHT has always had a strong basis in research. The membership of The Giving Institute strengthens this. Dr Daniel McDiarmid cites as an example the early and full access to the annual Giving USA research for the Institute participants:

We are able to pass this research on to our clients in Australia and New Zealand with commentary on how the US results may affect philanthropy locally in future years.”

The fundraising consultants from AskRIGHT already have great plans to use these insights to help non-profit organisations in Australia develop their fundraising activities and raise more money. Jeff Buchanan, Senior Fundraising Consultant, will join Dr Daniel McDiarmid to comment the Giving USA research during a free webinar on Thursday 14 July.
