Rob Needham has over 15 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector and is skilled in raising funds for various organisations, particularly in the areas of Major Gifts, Bequests, Community Fundraising, and Sponsorships.
Throughout his fundraising career, Rob has had the opportunity to learn from leading fundraising practitioners in Australasia and the USA, and has been fortunate to serve various sectors including education, health, and emergency services. Some of Rob’s previous experience includes Director of Business Development at Sheldon College, Executive Fundraising Manager at The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section), Foundation Manager at Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie), and Development Manager at the Mater Foundation. Rob attained his CFRE qualification in 2015 and plans to undertake further philanthropic studies in the near future.
Rob has also held a number of volunteer positions; Rob was head of Community Services at North Lakes Rotary Club, Non-Executive Director on the Board of Royal Queensland Aero Club and Airline Academy of Australia, and fundraiser and supporter for a project by Helping Hands for Nepal.
Now, as Senior Consultant at AskRIGHT, Rob continues to build and foster genuine relationships with individuals in the philanthropic sector to achieve the best outcomes for non-profit organisations in Australia.
