David Powick has more than eight years' experience working in the non-profit sector with a successful track-record in assisting organisations to secure lead gifts for capital campaigns.
After finishing his studies in Architectural Technology at CPIT in Christchurch, David moved to Australia in 2009 to embark on two years of missionary work for the Catholic Church. He then spent six years at the Catholic Foundation as a Major Gift Officer and coordinated the Annual Catholic Campaign supporting the mission of the Archdiocese of Brisbane.
David then completed a Master of Philanthropy at Swinburne University before moving back to New Zealand to help local organisations raise more money for their projects.
Prior to moving to New Zealand, David served on advisory committees to non-profit organisations in Australia, including Brisbane Oratory Vallicella Dinner and Brisbane Frassati Fraternity.
David has presented fundraising workshops and tutorials to groups across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.
