Fundraising for healthcare in all its forms will continue to increase. There will be more money given, more activity happening and increasing competition in the healthcare sector. Supporters will also ask for more transparency, more involvement and greater accountability.
There are so many choices confronting healthcare fundraisers – What types of fundraising activities are best? Which prospects/donors should be the main priority? What can be done to enlist more help from healthcare staff and volunteers in fundraising effort? How will the key messages be communicated to reach such a diverse supporter base? What kinds of experiences are best to engage prospects/donors and build productive, long-term relationships? How can we get the key healthcare Executives and Board members on the same page as the fundraising practitioners? Is there data and research that presents a useful evidence base for why some fundraising activities would be chosen over others in a tight budget?
Practitioners attending this workshop will be able to take away new ideas, helpful tools and a set of ‘next steps’ that will help to address these important questions.
