Every year, AskRIGHT supports these efforts by proudly sponsoring the B/HERT Award for Outstanding Philanthropic Support of Higher Education. The award recognises the role that philanthropic support plays in enabling innovative programs.

In 2015, the Westpac Banking Corporation was awarded for their project Westpac Bicentennial Foundation. Our Principal Consultant Dr Daniel McDiarmid commented:

Over the years the awards have recognised individuals, family foundations, companies, and now a major company foundation. I hope Westpac has begun a trend for corporations to celebrate milestone achievements by making a major investment in education for the community.”

This has been an extraordinary year for philanthropy in higher education. This award offers an opportunity to recognise your donors, their leadership and the growing role that philanthropy plays in shaping the higher education sector.

Applications are now open and will be accepted through 9 September. Guidelines for the awards and the application can be found at the B/HERT website. Awards will be presented at the B/HERT Awards Dinner on 15 November 2016 at Melbourne Crown Towers.

Fundraising consultants from AskRIGHT have helped many universities in Australia and New Zealand raise more money for their important projects. We are honoured to sponsor this award to draw attention to philanthropy in higher education.

We look forward to your nomination. Recommend your major supporter now!
